Ownership and control

 1) "Instagram had just 30 million users and zero revenue." so now it has 600 million  users and Instagram still get more people and will always get more their users increase by millions . 

2) vertical integration can have control on every stage and can own different companies in the same chain of production . 

3)companies have more profit , affect wider on audience , diversity: move into other platforms and spread risk . 

4) a subsidiary is a company that is owned by a bigger media conglomerate companies.

5) Disney / channels / plus uses synergy as they bought sky , marvel , star wars, pixar and etc. 

6) companies that are part of the Disney empire are the Walt Disney Studios, which includes Walt Disney Pictures, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, 20th Century Studios, Searchlight Pictures, and Blue Sky Studios.

7)Disney bought fox because they have power over the american tv fro example they own family guy . in addition they have successful  and powerful news channel . That decision may have played a key part in this radical change of strategy.
