Introduction to Science-fiction TV drama

 1) How does Class meet the conventions of a TV drama series?

It has a dramatic narrative as it shows also in the trailer and has stereotypical ‘stock’characters get messages across quickly. there is teenagers , high school and fights.  

2) What conventions of the science-fiction genre can you find in the Class trailer? List as many as you can and use NCIS to help you.

There is 
Artificial intelligence ,Time travel  , alien inventions and weird creatures , space , darkness and shadows , scientists , different planet and worlds , lava  , doctors , teen drama and spaceships.

3) What other genres are suggested by the trailer (e.g. horror)? Is Class an example of a modern hybrid-genre show?

There is science-fiction, horror , drama , narrative , action  and mystery . i think there is a modern hybrid-genre . 

4) Class is a spin-off from Doctor Who. At what point does the character of the Doctor appear in the trailer?

The doctor appears in the end of the trailer , as he was in a room with a few others looking like they are discussing a problem. 

5) Who do you think the target audience for Class is? Is this a typical target audience for the science-fiction genre? Give reasons for your answer.

I think this is targeted for people the age of 12+ and i think its mostly for teenagers and middle age people , but as it shows its mostly shown on the trailer teenagers and dramas of high schools.
