Newspapers: Introduction

 1) What type of news can you typically find in a tabloid newspaper?

you can find soft news that include and talk about gossip and show biz. 

2) What type of news can you typically find in a broadsheet newspaper?

Hard news which is about business, politics and international affairs.

3) If someone is left-wing, which political party are they likely to support? Which newspaper would they be likely to read?

left wing is a Socialist in favour of social equality and reform and also which goes with the Labour Party and Daily mirror. 

4) If someone is right-wing, which political party are they likely to support? Which newspaper would they be likely to read?

Right-wing is a Conservative that prefer the traditional way things are and in favour of low taxes and goes with the Conservative Party and the Times generally supports the Conservatives and right-wing causes. 

5) Why has there been a decline in newspaper sales in the last 20 years?

This is because people mostly read news online and technologies as it took over the world. 

6) Why is  like the UK?

A free press important in a democracy because everyone has a voice and different opinions in society.
